A few facts about Amalie Hotel

Amalie Hotel opened on March 7, 2000. The old Høgseth building was totally refurbished and turned into a hotel. Today, we have the pleasure of welcoming guests to a warm, friendly and cosy hotel offering all the comforts of home. We have a central location in downtown Tromsø and most of the city’s attractions, shops, restaurants and night spots are within easy walking distance.

Our aim from day one was to be a hotel with local roots. We are still 100 % owned and operated by North Norwegian interests. We have made a conscious decision not to be attached to any hotel chains. Our independence is something we enjoy and we believe it is this which enables us to have such close contact with our guests.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am on weekdays, 7am to 11am on Saturdays and 8am to 11am on Sundays.
